The curriculum is being developed with Gavin Doty alongside experienced basketball coaches and player-development specialists, combining skill development, competitive play, athletic development, data and long-term progression.

Fulton native Gavin Doty brings a player’s perspective to Basketball SKLZ — from local gyms and high school competition to the college level.
After a standout career at Fulton, Gavin continued his development at Siena, earning First Team All-MAAC honors and MAAC Tournament MVP recognition before returning home to join Syracuse.
That journey helps shape a Basketball SKLZ environment centered on the habits that create progress: repetition, competitiveness, detail, decision-making and consistency.
Beginning in 2027, Basketball SKLZ will expand into Oswego at Adventure at Burritt's — creating more space for high-repetition training, competitive play and long-term athlete development.
Basketball SKLZ launches at our Tipperary Hill location with organized training groups, skill stations, small-sided competition and player development.
Basketball SKLZ expands across both locations, including the developing Oswego multi-court sports complex and additional basketball training opportunities.
To protect coaching quality, repetitions and individual attention, our first Syracuse training blocks will be intentionally limited.
The initial launch will be capped at 50 athletes per training block.
