Adventure at Burritt Sports is a year-round youth athlete development organization serving families across Central New York. We currently operate from our facility at 201 Hamilton Street in Syracuse (14,000+ sq ft) and are actively building our flagship location at 80 Dutch Ridge Road in Oswego — the new Adventure at Burritt Sports Center.

This major new 130,000+ square foot complex is currently under construction and will deliver state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor training, competition, wellness, and community spaces designed for long-term athlete development.

Our programs focus on technical excellence through high-volume, purposeful training combined with athletic development, mental resilience, game intelligence, and leadership. Athletes progress through structured levels of skill mastery while building the habits, mindset, and character needed for long-term success in soccer and in life.

We are building a complete athlete development ecosystem where technical growth, physical performance, mental strength, and personal development happen together under one trusted organization.

Our approach is built on Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) principles. We prioritize continuous improvement over short-term results.


Athletes develop through structured technical progressions, high-repetition purposeful training, athletic performance work, tactical understanding, decision-making, and mental resilience. We emphasize measurable growth in skill, speed, strength, power, game intelligence, and leadership while fostering a love for the game and the habits needed for long-term success.


College pathway support and recruiting guidance are available for players pursuing higher levels of play.


Adventure at Burritt Sports is led by Founder and Head Coach Bogdan Milovanović. The organization operates with clear accountability focused on athlete development, program quality, safety, and family experience.


As we scale and prepare for full competitive team pathways, we are formalizing governance structures, including the adoption of bylaws and the establishment of a Board of Directors with defined oversight for strategy, compliance, and long-term sustainability.

All individuals working directly with athletes complete required background screening and SafeSport training.

Adventure at Burritt Sports maintains rigorous internal standards for governance, safety, coaching education, and athlete welfare. We are actively preparing for and pursuing official club affiliation with the New York State West Youth Soccer Association (NYSWYSA) and US Youth Soccer.


Our policies and procedures are designed to meet or exceed NYSWYSA and US Youth Soccer requirements. Once affiliated, our competitive teams will participate in sanctioned league play, tournaments, and player pathways consistent with US Soccer standards.


Current Status: Internal compliance framework complete and operational. Formal affiliation process underway.


Player safety is our highest priority. We maintain comprehensive risk management protocols aligned with the US Center for SafeSport, CDC, US Soccer, and NYSWYSA best practices.


All applicable staff and volunteers complete background screening and required SafeSport training. Written policies cover concussion protocols, heat illness prevention, lightning and severe weather procedures, facility Emergency Action Plans, and abuse prevention/reporting.
